Overview
LangGenius, Inc. (“LangGenius,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides Remotify, including its website, Console, command-line tools, device daemon, APIs, and related hosted services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the Service.
For enterprise deployments where we process information only on a customer’s instructions, the applicable customer agreement or data processing agreement controls that processing.
Information we collect
We collect information needed to identify users, connect authorized machines, operate Agent Sessions, and preserve an accountable record of remote activity.
- Account information: identifiers and profile information supplied by you or an OAuth provider such as GitHub, including name and email address.
- Team and access information: Team membership, roles, device access policies, Session identifiers, Agent names, authorization scope, and revocation or expiry facts.
- Machine information: device identifiers and names, operating system, connection status derived from recent activity, and device login-session records.
- Operation and audit information: commands, patches, file-transfer paths and metadata, command output, results, timestamps, and the user, Agent Session, and machine associated with an operation.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and operating-system information, request metadata, cookies, diagnostic logs, and security events generated when the Service is accessed.
- Support information: messages, screenshots, files, and other information you choose to provide when requesting help or giving feedback.
Please do not place secrets or personal information in commands, file paths, patches, or other operation content unless it is necessary for an authorized task.
How we use information
- Provide, authenticate, authorize, maintain, and troubleshoot the Service.
- Connect approved Agent Sessions to approved machines and deliver requested operations.
- Show Team members the devices, access settings, and audit history they are permitted to see.
- Protect users, machines, and the Service from fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security threats.
- Analyze reliability and improve the Service without using remote-operation content to train AI models.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and resolve disputes.
Remotify is a remote-control layer for Agents; it does not provide the underlying AI model. Information an Agent independently sends to its model provider is governed by your agreement with that provider.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service, honor your instructions, or meet legal obligations. Recipients may include:
- Authorized members of your Team, according to the roles and device permissions configured in Remotify.
- Infrastructure and service providers that support authentication, hosting, networking, databases, object storage, security, and support.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
- A successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security and auditability, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Retention depends on the type of information and how the Service is configured.
Revoking a Session or deleting a device prevents future use of that credential. Historical operation records may remain so authorized Teams can identify which user and Agent performed an earlier action. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before deletion.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections, scoped credentials, role and device access controls, and auditable operation records. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or loss will never occur.
You are responsible for protecting your account, Agent Sessions, device credentials, local configuration, and the machines connected to Remotify.
International transfers
LangGenius and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate legal mechanisms for international transfers of personal information.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You can also revoke Agent Sessions, remove device credentials, update access policies, and delete devices through the Service.
To submit a privacy request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.
Children
The Service is intended for adults and organizations and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will revise the date at the top and provide additional notice when required.
