Terms of Service
Last updated August 17, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and LangGenius, Inc. (“LangGenius,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of Remotify, including its website, Console, command-line tools, device daemon, APIs, and related hosted services (the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. You must provide accurate account information and keep account, Session, enrollment, and device credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through credentials you issue or control.
Authorized machines only
You may connect, inspect, modify, or control only machines and data that you own or are authorized to administer. You are responsible for obtaining any notices, approvals, and consents required from machine owners, employees, users, customers, or other affected parties.
Using Remotify to access a machine without authorization is prohibited, even if the machine is technically reachable.
Agent actions
Remotify allows AI Agents and other automated tools to act on machines through credentials and permissions configured by you. An operation requested through an Agent Session is treated as an operation authorized by the user or organization that created or retained that Session.
Agents can misunderstand instructions, produce incorrect commands, overwrite files, disclose information, interrupt services, or cause irreversible loss. You are responsible for reviewing instructions, configuring approvals and access limits, monitoring activity, and deciding whether Agent output is safe to execute or rely on. Remotify does not independently validate the purpose or correctness of each operation.
Teams and access control
Team owners and administrators are responsible for membership, roles, device policies, Agent Sessions, and credential revocation. Grant only the minimum access needed and promptly revoke access that is no longer appropriate.
Audit records support accountability but do not replace your own security, backup, incident-response, or compliance program.
Your content and data
You retain ownership of commands, patches, files, output, device information, and other content you provide through the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and technically modify Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service.
You represent that you have all rights necessary for Your Content and for the operations you ask the Service to perform. We do not use remote-operation content to train AI models.
Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Access systems, accounts, or data without authorization.
- Distribute malware, steal credentials, evade security controls, or conduct surveillance that violates law or another person’s rights.
- Disrupt, overload, probe, or interfere with the Service or another system, except for authorized security testing.
- Resell or provide access to the hosted Service without our written permission.
- Use the Service in violation of applicable export-control, sanctions, privacy, employment, or computer-misuse laws.
Third-party services
The Service may rely on or interact with third-party services, including OAuth providers, hosting providers, operating systems, Agent products, and AI model providers. Their terms and privacy practices govern your relationship with them. We are not responsible for third-party services or for actions an Agent takes outside Remotify.
Service changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features as the Service evolves. We may impose reasonable limits needed for security, reliability, or legal compliance. We will provide notice when required by law or an applicable customer agreement.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, or materially interfere with the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity—will survive.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AN AGENT’S INSTRUCTIONS, COMMANDS, DIAGNOSES, OUTPUTS, OR ACTIONS WILL BE CORRECT, SAFE, REVERSIBLE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR ENVIRONMENT.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LANGGENIUS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR US$100. THESE LIMITS APPLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LangGenius and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, Agent actions authorized through your credentials, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another party’s rights.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EACH PARTY WAIVES THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND AGREES TO BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, NOT AS PART OF A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice when required.
Legal notices may be mailed to LangGenius, Inc., 101 Jefferson Drive, Menlo Park, CA 94025, United States.
